In the 1970’s and 1980’s, I boarded and finished greyhound racing dogs for investors. People would buy racing dogs for the investment opportunity and place them with me to raise and get them ready to race. When I retired from my real job, I wanted to do puppies again. Through much research, I decided to raise cockapoos. Their family friendly personalities, non-shedding coats, and adaptability to many lifestyles made cockapoos my top choice. After making the choice, I wanted to have cockapoos for my pets too, not cocker spaniels or poodles, which I could have bought as adults. So, I bought Tula Rose and Paisley as puppies to begin my little enterprise.
As a small breeder, I only raise cockapoos. All of my puppies are raised in my house and get my personal attention from the day they are born until they are given to their families. I am breeding for health, temperament, and the teddy bear look. I do not believe in leaving the health of your puppy to chance. Even though testing for diseases is expensive, I believe it is the mark of a quality breeder. My goal is to give you the best puppy you can get. Hopefully your puppy will bring you love and joy for a long time.
